After living in NY together for almost 2 years, we got engaged in October of 2018 in Central Park, NY. We started looking for the perfect wedding venue that met our checklist — the biggest priority was for it to be unique, in nature, and sleep around 30-40 people. After 3 months of seeing almost 100 venues, we had an idea — if we can’t find the perfect place, let’s make the perfect place.

Since we bought the original 75 acre farm in March of 2019, we’ve spent the past 2 years building, renovating, and fixing the property on a mission to create a place that can only be described by the feelings one gets when they are here. In September of 2020 we powered through the Covid-19 pandemic and got married on the property surrounded safely by 50 of our closest loved ones. Almost 2 years after getting engaged, we found our perfect place.

And now, our journey continues as we continue to put our passion
into making Grateful Woods a place for people around the world to
experience. No matter what’s going on in the rest of the world —
when you pull into Grateful Woods — that all disappears.
